Will Flat Screen TV prices go lower after Black Friday 2009? Or can I get it somewhere cheaper at this moment?

I am looking to buy a 50" or higher flat screen panel, but I don't want to wait in line for hours for deals on black Friday. I am wondering whether it will be better to buy online or wait till December to buy a new flat screen.

I am cool with a 720p 60hz TV that's around $650 - $850 even better if it's a 1080 p 120 hz that's Plasma going for less than $900.

Any ideas or if I should wait till after Black Friday, buy now (if anyone knows of a place) or wait till after Christmas. A lot of people tell me to wait till after Christmas because the economy is bad and prices will keep going down, is that true?
