how do i fix my tv? 10-Best Answer?

My tv is a panasonic flat screen tv and it has to be tilted at an angle when ever you want to turn on the tv. if i move it all the way up then slowly tilt it down then the tv turns on. How can i fix this? I sometimes have to tilt it like 100 times for it to turn on. Please help!
When i took the stand thing off the tv. The thing that i tilt. it was not the problem. When i connect the tv without it. It works fine but then dies.
