Do I have to have a flat screen television beginning from February 17?

I heard that from February 17,2009, the era of analog broadcast television in the United States will end as the nation's full power* television stations complete their transition to an all-digital system.

I have DIRECTV service and I have a cube television. ( standard defenition ) so do I have to buy a flat screen TV or mines will work just fine?
