Buying a 50″ or 52″ Flat Screen TV, LCD or Plasma? Use w CPU?

I am going to buy either a 50" Panasonic Plasma 700U or a 52" LCD Sharp or Samsung. I need to know which is a better fit for my needs. I watch alot of HD programming and this TV will double as a remote monitor for my Desktop Computer. All 3 TVs I am looking at are excellent but I am not sure which one will better handle being a CPU monitor? I am under the impression that LCD TVs excel as far as computer networking or use with computers? I also worry about burn in on the Plasma? Share your thoughts please. Thanks
